 Roland Sanchez
Roland assumed the role of the Family & Children's Ministry Pastor January 2008, after graduating from The Master's Seminary in December 2007.
Roland started attending Faith Bible Church in 1995 in the early years when FBC was still meeting at North Central High School. Roland began his formal education at Portland State University where he received his B.S. in Physical Education. He then went on to Eastern Washington University and received his B.S. in Nursing.
Roland worked as a Registered Nurse at Deaconess Hospital for nearly 12 years. In 2003 the elders of FBC affirmed his full time ministry as the Family and Children's Ministry Resident in the Men of God Program. Upon completion of his residency in 2005, Roland began his rigorous theological training at The Master's Seminary in Sun Valley, CA. He served at Grace Community Church's outreach ministry where he preached monthly at a drug rehab center.
Roland enjoys spending family time with his wife, LaNae, and their 3 children, Kailyn, Cade and Claire. His hobbies include reading the B.I.B.L.E. (Yes, that's the book for me), Puritan authors, puritan-like authors, theology books, anything by C.J. Mahaney, and biographies with his children. In Roland's spare time he enjoys running, golfing, and playing any game that involves competition (yes, even Yahtzee!).
